Packed with practical takeaways, the competition featured three rounds—vocabulary quick-fire quiz, classic film dubbing, and grid-themed public speaking—comprehensively testing the participants' overall competencies.

In the vocabulary quick-fire quiz, the questions ingeniously integrated local district conditions with key grid management operations, achieving a seamless blend of "grassroots relevance" and "international perspective." The classic film dubbing segment brought the atmosphere to a climax. Teams demonstrated remarkable synergy and expressive delivery, delivering lively and engaging performances that highlighted the confidence, poise, and multifaceted talents of grid workers.

The most touching part was undoubtedly the grid-themed public speaking segment. Grounded in frontline service, participants used natural and fluent English to share heartwarming moments and governance insights from their work serving the community. These sincere stories vividly demonstrated the sense of responsibility behind the concept of "small grids serving major public well-being," allowing the audience to deeply feel the people-centric dedication of grassroots workers.

During the breaks, the venue also screened carefully curated short videos on foreign-related services produced by various sub-districts.The videos vividly recreated real-life scenarios showing how grid workers, despite having zero English foundation, skillfully utilized smart software to communicate seamlessly with foreign friends.

After the event, grid workers noted that the competition served as both a platform for mutual learning and a "training ground" for healthy competition and improvement. Participants not only enhanced their foreign language skills but also sparked an intrinsic motivation to refine their professional expertise and elevate service quality.
