Longhua District is seeking public opinions on the design and construction of Litou Mountain Sports Park, a new park in Dalang Subdistrict, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.

Citizens can submit their suggestions via online survey before Aug. 8.

The park is located in Dalang and Fucheng subdistricts, with Minglang Road to the east, the Shi’ao area to the south, E’jing Reservoir to the west and the provincial greenway to the north.

It covers about 2.34 million square meters, or 328 standard soccer pitches, with 90.42% of it being green land.

Upon completion, the park will be the city’s first fashion park and carbon-free park.

The park will integrate Dalang’s fashion industry theme and draw inspiration from fashion design and manufacturing for design, thus becoming Shenzhen’s unique urban fashion leisure park.

It will feature six major attractions, namely a fashion runway, an urban view observation deck, a tree museum, a carbon-free laboratory, outdoor camping and a sports valley. Residents will be able to enjoy various recreational activities in the park.

A trail system will have its main trail go through all of the park’s attractions and 12 themed tour routes such as forest, water and sports.
